Register with validity and an owner

A legal requirement with no owner and no review date is dead weight: it needs to be assigned to someone, with a date to check it again.

Content reviewed on

Requirement owner

The person or role responsible for monitoring and evaluating that specific requirement, not a generic "quality" nobody ever actually owns.

Validity and review frequency

The date from which the requirement applies and how often its compliance must be reviewed.

Supporting evidence

A document, record or certificate proving the requirement is met at the time of review.

What an auditor usually asks for

  • Owner assigned to each legal requirement
  • Review frequency defined per requirement
  • Compliance evidence attached and up to date
  • History of previous reviews kept

How to cover the register and validity in Kimobox

  1. 1Assign an owner to each registered legal requirement.
  2. 2Set the review frequency and get notified when it's due.
  3. 3Attach compliance evidence directly to the requirement's record.

When a requirement is due for review, the platform tells you; nobody has to remember.
