Company news
Notices, updates and events published in the same day-to-day portal.
Employee portal
The corporate intranet lives in the same portal where the employee clocks in and requests leave, not in one more tool nobody opens.
A corporate intranet only works if people are already going there for another reason. That is why Kimobox's is not a separate portal: news, announcements and company documents live at the same address where the worker clocks in, books leave and checks their payslip. The practical consequence is that an important announcement actually lands, and that the company can prove with date and time who opened it.
Notices, updates and events published in the same day-to-day portal.
Policies, manuals and notices accessible from any device.
Every piece of news reaches only the people it applies to: by site, department or role.
Know who has read an important notice and who hasn't.
Find a colleague and their role with no need to ask in the WhatsApp group.
Find an old notice or document by its text, not just its title.
What's included
What it looks like
News, notices and documents appear as a feed within the same portal where the employee already clocks in, with a read receipt visible to HR for important notices.
Real examples
Manufacturing · three sites
Before A poster on the noticeboard and an email to whoever has an account. Half the production workforce has no corporate email.
After Published by site with a mandatory read receipt. Anyone who has not opened it appears on a list, and their manager knows.
Retail
Before Documents sit on a network folder only head office can reach. The shop phones to ask.
After A searchable document library with version control. The current version is always the one downloaded, not the two-year-old copy on somebody's desktop.
Corporate group
Before An email address read by the very person who might be the subject of a report, with no confidentiality guarantee.
After An internal channel with restricted receipt, acknowledgement within seven days and case follow-up inside the three-month window the law sets.
Vocabulary
Frequently asked questions
It can; by living in the same portal the employee already uses to clock in, it tends to replace intranets nobody visited.
Yes, by work site, department or role, so each employee sees only what applies to them.
The read receipt shows who has seen it and who hasn't, with no need to ask around.
Because a standalone intranet competes with email and loses. Living where the worker already goes to clock in and book leave, the content gets seen without having to persuade anyone to open another tool.
Yes. Each document keeps its history, its approver and its date, and the link always resolves to the current version. Uncontrolled copies on desktops stop making sense.
The portal can host the channel with restricted receipt and case follow-up. Spanish Law 2/2023 requires employers with fifty or more workers to have one and sets specific acknowledgement and response deadlines.
Yes. The read receipt is recorded per person, so the list of outstanding readers exists and their manager can act on it before it becomes a problem.
The portal follows WCAG accessibility guidance on keyboard navigation, contrast and alternative text, in line with what the European accessibility legislation requires.

Kimobox's corporate intranet publishes company news, notices and documents in the same portal where the employee already clocks in, requests leave and checks their payslip, with segmentation by site, department or role.
Read receipts for important notices, the employee directory and content search keep internal communication from depending on a physical noticeboard or a WhatsApp group.
