Access authorization and on-site control

With documentation in order, access authorization is issued; without it, neither the worker nor the machine should enter the site.

Content reviewed on

Issuing the authorization

Generated only once all required documentation is valid and verified, for both the worker and the machine they'll use.

Automatic expiry

The authorization stops being valid the moment a linked document expires, with no need to check it manually every time.

Special work permits

Additional work permits for specific high-risk tasks, such as hot work, work at height or confined spaces.

What an auditor usually asks for

  • Access authorization issued only with valid documentation
  • List of authorized workers updated in real time
  • Special work permits for specific high-risk tasks
  • Record of access denied due to expired documentation

How to cover access authorization in Kimobox

  1. 1The platform issues the authorization only once the worker's and machine's documentation is valid.
  2. 2Send the list of authorized workers to the turnstile or the site's access control system.
  3. 3Configure special work permits for specific high-risk tasks.

Without valid documentation, access authorization simply isn't issued — nobody has to check it by hand at the gate.
