SGE 21 equal opportunities actions record
Proof that equality policies are being applied: each action with its area, owner, objective, result and date.
In one sentence
The equality actions record lists every measure arising from the equality and non-discrimination policies with the department involved, the owner, the objective, the result and the implementation date, which are exactly the data that section 6.2.2 of SGE 21 requires to be kept as evidence.

What the standard requires
What SGE 21 demands and what it leaves to your judgement
The standard requires policies and procedures that guarantee equal opportunities in access to employment, training, development, working conditions and pay, and the absence of discrimination on grounds of gender, origin, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation or culture, among others.
For each action, the department, owner, objective, results and date must be kept. Diversity management (6.2.3) adds an action plan reviewed at least every three years.
This record does not replace the equality plan that Spanish employment law requires of certain companies; it complements it and can draw on it.

Frequently asked questions
What people ask us before getting started
Is it the same as the statutory equality plan?
No. The equality plan is an employment law obligation for certain Spanish companies, with its own negotiation procedure. SGE 21 asks for evidence of equality actions, which may come from that plan or from other policies.
What data does the standard require for each action?
The department involved, the person responsible for carrying it out, the objective, the results achieved and the implementation date.
