Food safety and quality management system

IFS's second chapter requires a HACCP system based on Codex Alimentarius, plus a documented quality management system built around it.

Content reviewed on

HACCP plan

Based on the seven Codex principles, with a multidisciplinary HACCP team, documented hazard analysis and CCPs.

Document control

A quality manual, procedures, specifications and records under version control with restricted access.

Traceability

A batch traceability system tested at least once a year, both forward and backward through the chain.

What an auditor usually asks for

  • A HACCP plan with a documented multidisciplinary team
  • Document control with versions and approval
  • An annual traceability test with logged result and time
  • Up-to-date product and raw material specifications

How to cover the management system in Kimobox

  1. 1Integrate the HACCP plan directly on Kimobox's process map.
  2. 2Manage the system's document control with versions and approval.
  3. 3Run and log the annual traceability test from the quality certificates module.

The annual traceability test is logged with its response time, no need to rebuild it by hand.
